What is your return policy?

No Hassle Returns!

Marvel Woods wants to make your return process simple and straightforward. Please note the following guidelines for returns and refunds:

  • Refunds are accepted ONLY within 30 days of purchase and exclude shipping costs. Returns requested beyond this period will not be accepted.
  • Email us with your order number and the reason for your return (refund, repair, credit, etc.).
  • If your order was placed in error, return the item in unaltered condition, ready for resale, and we will refund the cost of the item (excluding shipping).

On arrival, please inspect your product to confirm it matches your order. If there are any issues, contact us immediately.

  • If you believe an item is defective, please contact us, and we will provide a prepaid return postage label.
  • Items returned for a refund must be in their original packaging.
  • A full refund will be issued within 30 days of receiving your returned item, subject to inspection of the product.

Is the wood that you sell sustainably harvested?

Yes, it is sustainably harvested. We obtain our wood from sustainable and trustworthy sources. Much of our wood is C.I.T.E.S. certified. We also carry wood that does not need C.I.T.E.S. certification as this wood was obtained from trees that were salvaged, or from reclaimed wood.

How do you prepare your wood?

At Marvel Woods, we take pride in the way we process and prepare wood.

We have the advantage of drying with a state-of-the-art technology, top of the line, vacuum kiln. Most of our wood is processed through this method. We dry wood to 6-8% moisture content.

There is material that we occasionally obtain where the wood was air dried.

Sometimes we stock material that has been in dimensional wood form for up to 60 years!

Do you sand all of your guitar sets?

Unless stated, listed material is slowly cut so that material shows the actual grain figure and color. Sometimes material is sanded when grain figure and color is not appreciable. Material thickness is listed on product page. We have found that different luthiers prefer to do their own sanding.

  • UPS 2nd Day Air: Delivery within two business days, ideal for faster shipments while keeping costs reasonable.
  • UPS Next Day Air: For urgent deliveries, this service guarantees next-business-day delivery.
  • UPS Worldwide Services: For international shipments, UPS provides options such as Worldwide Express and Worldwide Expedited to ensure timely and secure delivery to most countries around the globe.

Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with a UPS tracking number so you can monitor your parcel’s progress in real time through the UPS website or clicking at our Shipment Tracking service at https://marvelwoods.com/ts-shipment-tracking/

Do I pay for delivery?

Yes, the delivery charge will automatically be calculated at checkout.

Will I be charged customs fees?
